About Us:

Our story and commitment to our community starts with our accomplished owner, Dr. Brittany Wood. And it’s quite “the local girl makes good” story as Dr. Wood was born and raised right here in the greater Virginia Beach Community.

Inspired at a young age by her mother’s work as a dental hygienist, Dr. Wood dreamed of becoming a renowned dentist on her own. Pursuing her aspiration, she put herself through undergraduate school at Old Dominion University (ODU) and then through the esteemed Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry (VCU).

After graduating with her D.D.S, she immediately began practice as an associate doctor at a large local practice. Dr. Wood loved her work and patients, but her real dream was always to build her very own practice providing the best care and bringing beautiful smiles to the Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake region.

And as with everything else she set her mind to, Dr. Wood established her own practice, Shoreline Cosmetic & Family Dentistry in 2023.

Today this practice is flourishing as it focuses on providing the most important aspects of cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, offering everything from simple cleanings to full oral reconstruction.
